Tellabration!™ 2022 at Tamarack Marketplace

Beckley, West Virginia — Do you like a good story? Then join thousands of storytellers and listeners around the world in observation of Tellabration!™ 2022 on Saturday, November 19 from 2:00 – 3:30 pm in the theater at Tamarack Marketplace in Beckley, West Virginia.  Click here for the poster.

“Tellabration!™ originated in 1988 as part of the ongoing revival of the oral tradition of storytelling. Hosted locally by the West Virginia Storytelling Guild, this year’s FREE Beckley event will feature the storytelling talents of Karen Vuranch, Linda Durrett, MikalenaZuckett, and Jodi French-Burr. “At the same time we’re sharing stories in southern West Virginia, tales will be told across the country and around the world,” says French-Burr, coordinator of this year’s Beckley event. “Everyone has stories to tell! We’re hoping thiscelebration of stories will get us all thinking about the tales that enrich our lives. As family and friends gather for the season, it’s times like these that are especially good for sharing stories, be that at home around the kitchen table or at a celebration like this.” Join in on this fun storytelling adventure for people of all ages!
