Make Plans to Attend WVSG Retreat!

We will gather the weekend of Aug. 18/19 at the West Virginia Folk Life Center,

Fairmont State University for a time to polish our skills, share insights, and enjoy each other’s

company with our host, Bill Hairston.

The doors of the Folk Life Center will open at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, and we will enjoy

dinner there at 6 p.m.

After enjoying the evening, we will adjourn to The Quality Inn, 1185 Airport Road,

Fairmont, WV 26554, where those who choose to stay overnight can find lodging. The Inn is

allowing us to gather in the breakfast room for evening socializing.

Saturday, Aug. 19, we will gather again at the Folk Life Center 9-9:30 a.m.

Morning activity, 10 a.m.-noon, professional development.

Noon, Lunch on site, provided.

Afternoon, story swapping and Guild meeting, with Q & A for new members.

Wrap up at 3 p.m .

The fee, other than your lodging, is just $20, payable at the retreat.
